Makes sense really, being as how large of a state it is compared to the rest. What's the average cost for gas down there? I bet that may also have an impact.

87 octane is about $2.89 right now. And there are a LOT of trucks around Texas. More than anywhere else.

With all the don't-mess-with-Texas swagger he can muster, Perry has called Al Gore's mouth the leading source of carbon dioxide

Yeah, this could be considered an attack on a stupid, stupid girl...She may have read the headline, but she forgot to read...
"Being that Texas is a heavily populated state, that it is the leading producer of energy, has the largest refining capacity and has the largest petrochemical industry in the nation, it would be expected that we would have the largest total of greenhouse gases in the country," Perry spokeswoman Allison Castle said.
Without Texas where would you get your gas and oil? Just wondering, am I attacking her, when she made the stupid claims first?

I liked the video. I can appreciate Gary P. Nun's song writing, but I like Jerry Jeff's version of the song better.

ETA: I think LT has a fetish about all things Texas.

We make gas here...and send it to yall via a long A$$ pipeline. Thats why we produce so much carbon. Wanna have us cut down on carbon? Expect a bigger dent in you wallet....
