Is that a threat? Seeing all I've basically owned for vehicles have been Fords. Including the F150 and Expedition I CURRENTLY own.

Once again, I gave Toyota props for the way they have handled some of the growing pains with the Tundra.
That's it. Your just another blind, bleeding blue hearted person who would rather assume about somebody ( aka, me wanting a Tundra ) than actaully asking questions and getting the facts.

The mid box, cool idea, haven't seen one on the road yet. I believe it was available on the '07 models. Tailgate step, taken from the Super Duty. The cost of that little option will probably keep it off 90% of the trucks Ford sells. The trailer sway system is a nice idea but I too would like to see how it compensates for an inexperienced tower. Front side airbags, optional on '07 Rams nothing new there other then Ford has made them standard.
The F150 may be the most capable truck but Ford still missed the mark on alot of things.

Innovation? Integration? Who the hell cares? The bottom line is that the F150 will be the nicest truck and offer the most in its class. does it matter if NASA used the technology 50 years ago in their lunar rover? No, what matters is that it is there in the F150 now and when you tally it up it looks a bit like this:
F150 > Everyone else.
'nuff said.

Hate Fords? Hardly, well- not since 1997 anyway. You don't have to live & die by everything a manufacturer does, to be a fan... It doesn't mean that's the only thing you have to like, either.
Proof:
1999

2000

2001
2003
2006

2006

2007

So, yes- I like Ford. I just happen to like other stuff too.
I guess I'm a Swinger... During this time we'e also had two Nissan's, and one Acura.

I traded it on the 2003 Expy, and my mother-in-law bought it. I sold her the rims, and I drive it every weekend. So, it's still in the family...
My ultimate dummy move was selling my 2003 Expy...

Yeah, the 2000 Expy XLT Sport is about to turn 80,000 miles- and it has yet to suffer even the slightest mechanical failure. That SOB is even running off the same battery that cranked it 7.5 years ago.
My 2003 couldn't even make that claim.
The only thing that's been swapped out on that truck (2000) is the brake pads. it's been hit twice, and still no real damage.
And to think, I traded it because:
1.) Other Expy owners I knew complained they lost their tranny's at around 70K miles.
2.) Realizing #1, and the fact that I didn't buy the extended warranty, I chose to bail.
I later found out that both people I knew with Expy's that blew tranny's at 70K, were both 4WD 1999 and older models. The other person I knew who had a 1999 Expy (4 x 2), said she put 80K on hers in a little over 3 years, and never had a problem.
I guess 2000 was the year they got it right.
My '03 had a few Gremlins- one of which caused the truck to shut down at 70 MPH. Fortunately, my wife didn't lose the steering, and she coasted to a stop on the Tollway. Put it in park, cranked it, and it never did that again- but, I also never forgot about it.
There were also a number of little BS stuff that broke, but nothing that would strand the vehicle. Coming from the rock solid 2000 to the flaky (by comparison) 2003, I was not pleased.
