Rear ended

I was rear ended today after school leaving the parking lot. Stupis chevy drivers. I don't think the kid was paying attention and BAM! ran right righ into the back of me. Funny thing is he hit me pretty hard but no damage to me and his front bumper is smashed in from where he hit my trailer hitch cover. What amazes me is the guy who had the truck before me said he was rear ended pretty hard in it and it did no damage to the truck, I backed into the side of my moms explorer( just wasn't paying attention and forgot it was there) and it didn't bend my bumper, and now this and the bumper still hasn't moved. Ha I'm glad it didn't do anything to my truck because I got I out all pissed off because I was like why me and then I got back there and was like whelp no damage to my truck, you can call the police if you want. And he was like no and took off. So everything was good.

I'm sure there's damage, just some people's opinions of no damage are different from others. Probably meant there wasn't really any significant damage.

No it was two body styles ago for the chevy. It was around a 96 or so. It was a nice truck. No I swear I didn't have a scratch or nothing. If I had any damage what-so-ever I would have called the cops and had it fixed. I was scarred to death he bent my pipes tho but I got out and it didn't do a thing..I'm just pretty lucky it didn't

I had a similar experience last year with some girl in a v6 mustang. It was slippery after a nice dump of snow, I was sitting at the red light and watched her plow right into the back of me. I was calm, jumped out thinking, "well..... lets see the damage" and to my surprise there was nothing for damage except under that little black plastic piece on the chrome bumper and I didn't know if that was there from before or not. I just kind of smiled and looked at her car with the hood pushed right up and the hidden hitch mark imprinted in there. the cops came took down, my name, number, and plates and set me free. I never heard from them again.

I got hit last September in the rear of my truck. New girl driver. There was no damage to my truck except for a scratch in the bumper plastic (she piad cash for my replacement). Her car had a crumpled hood, leaking freon and coolent, it had to be towed.

Guess these trucks can take a hit from small cars.

I got hit by a nissan sentra a couple weeks ago. He hit my front tire and my metal running board mostly. His headlight was smashed and his bumper cover cracked. My truck had a scratch on the rim (very small) and a small dent on the fender near the tire you can't even notice. Our trucks are tough!
