I pay every year.
I don't think I've got a refund since 1995.

I pay most every year too. It is crazy to expect a return. Did you earn interest on that money the government kept all year? I would rather use the money throughout the year and use it like I want to and pay a little in the end. Just a matter of simple planing.

I'm going to change platforms and go Democratic here. My entire refund will be redistributed. I'm tired of profiting from the poor...
Honestly though let's get back to reality here... It will probably fund my Roth for 2007.

Now when I was a young man filing the short form I always got a refund, 200-800 bucks.

Back then, I loved tax time, I loved gubment and I especially loved President Carter.

His grin was almost as big as my refund.

You should be removed from the forum and your voting rights revoked for saying you loved Pres Carter who is quite possibly the worst President of all times. I'm sure your next post will trash Bush... Don't even try. Carter was HORRIBLE!!! Sorry for the Off Topic...

Being this is the first time I've ever had to file, I have no clue what I'm getting back, but whatever it is it's going to the lift fund.

We'll be lucky to get anything back. What with Federal, State AND freaking City taxes here! Can't wait to get back to Texas!

People complain about the property tax in Texas, but there's no state tax. If you make a decent living it more than makes up for the property tax.

That seems harsh to me but, ok you don't have to tell me twice.
I'll try someplace else where differing views are tolerated.

It's been fun guys.

Florida also has no state tax and the property taxes are much lower than Texas. But a house costs a lot more.

Back on topic....Probably use it all to lower my damn visa card.

I'm getting about 11k back. I'll use it to pay my kids highschool tuition next year. I can't save money well thats why I pay in extra.
