I really hope McCain wins the Republican Nomination because he has the experience, Knows about foreign policy, and supports the military. To me he's the most qualified. None of the democrats have as much experience as McCain. I know most of us want change, but at what cost.

Mccain's a pansy on immigration. He's willing to let the illegals here become citizens. If he is already willing to fold on immigration what else will he give in on? He doesn't want the border fence at all... Sounds like he's willing to hand over the US to Mexico.

Or maybe he is a realist and knows that the current system fails to address the real issue. The McCain-Kennedy bill proposes fines, back taxes, and most importantly makes it illegal to hire an illegal. The border fence is a farce. Currently to date, congress has failed to fund the Secure Fence Act. The fence plan is for grabbing headlines.

When will this country learn ... SEQUELS SUCK. Bush II and now there are people wanting Clinton II ... GIVE ME A BREAK. LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES!!! I am not talking two term Presidents, just part II.

When Bush II won the Republican nomination the first time, I swear the first thing out of my mouth was ... wft? Now, don't get me wrong I did vote for W in the elections because of the two loosers he was up against.

I can promise that I would not vote for Hillary even if she was going against Jeb Bush. Could you imagine a President named Jeb "Boys gi'et yer overalls on wez hedin' to the white harse "...

Well if any democrate gets elected I just hope I'm retired and out of reach when we have to go back to the middle east and play Desert Storm III in 5-9 years. Then I'll have to move to Canada to protect my kids from a draft because the democrate will probably have reduced our military strength like Billy Clinton did. People really need to think about this.

Jeb will fail to unseat Hillary in her re-election bid in 2012.
However, he will win in a landslide in 2016 and be narrowly re-elected in 2020.

This will give us 36 years of unbroken Bush/Clinton legacy.

This country will save a fortune on White House monogramed linens, stationary and cutlery.

In 2024, Chelsea and the Bush twins will be old enough to run and it will be a pick-em.

McCain? Are you effing serious? He's a two bit back stabbing, RINO Manchurian Candidate. There isn't a candidate running worth their salt, not from either of the big two.

Which is why I'm voting for Pat Paulsen for president. I understand that this time he's dead serious about running.

You know, you could vote for somebody who looks like Pat Paulsen.

p.s.
Are you registered in Kansas?
I understand that Kansas is a 'Closed' primary, in that you must register as 'D' or 'R' and Independents cannot participate. I read the deadline to register is this month.

How bad has Bush stunk up the joint?

The Dems are going to send up a polarizing woman, a black with a muslim name or a slimy trial lawyer

and the Republican will be the underdog.

He does look kinda like Pat. He's also as awkward in his speaking and overall presentation as Paulsen. And some would say he's as funny as Paulsen (all without intending to be so). So, yeah, I'll have to give that some thought.

Hell, beats me! I figured that in moving whatever party you belonged to automatically did it. I never moved out of the state of California in the years I've been registered to vote. I assumed that they would know where I moved and where I moved to. Heck, everyone else found out without my telling them. Every creditor started sending bills to the new address. Not sure how they found out, but they did. Damn them! I figured the powers that be all share that info. My guess is that Haliburton's database is open to all businesses what with **** tapping my phones and all.

Guess I'll need to register. Hell, I just recently got my KS Driver's License. I haven't registered my car yet. Putting that off for as long as I can. I thought that no state charged more for registration than Kalifornia, but it turns out that KS is a seriously tax happy state. Vehicles are registered through the Dept. of Revenue (that ought to tell you something right there) and are taxed as property, like your house. This county has outrageous taxes. Property taxes are about twice what they were in Lost Angeles. I can't imagine what my car will cost to register, considering it cost more than a lot of houses in the area. Sorry, I'm ranting. So long story short, no I haven't registered. I'm avoiding any government offices as long as possible.

I was just wondering because CA uses a Primary system like here in VA and Kansas uses the Caucus system. I think a Caucus lasting a few hours would be a good chance to meet your neighbors.
I'm sure if you put yourself through it, it would worthy of a post.

What I don't like about that system is you have to 'declare' and be a 'registered' 'D' or 'R' to participate, registered Independents sit home.

I did some research for you.
The state of Kansas says you must be registered 15 days before a vote.

The Democratic Caucus is Feb 2nd so you have until Jan 18th to register.

Or the Republican Caucus is Feb 9th which will give until Jan 25th to register.
