Awesome pics, those damn things spook me but are amazing to see. Were under a watch right now in the southeast Michigan area, on local tv radar it looks like a hippy tie dyed t-shirt heading our way.

Yeah, wild weather.

Last week the lows were in the single digits.

Then the past three days were highs of 65, 70, and 72.

Today had a tornado warning (may still be in effect for all I know) and this evening, thunderstorms!!!!

And how does mother nature follow 72 degrees today? Well tomorrow the temps will drop 30ish degrees with a high of 40 with rain and possibly light snow!!!!!

Gotta love rapidly changing weather.

Nice pix. I haven't seen a tornado yet, but I'm sure I will soon. I just hope it's not while in my basement as the tornado hits my house.

damn michigan weather I was busting through 2 1/2 ft snow drifts last week and I have to be worried about a damned tornado picking my truck up and taking it away today.

man, i miss the storms that used to come through Missouri when i lived there.(not the damage of course, just watching the black clouds approaching) Im originally from fulton and went to school in Warrensburg. Remember about a year and a half ago when 26 tornados touched down in the 4-county area around Warrensburg and Clinton? That was a wild night...we saw 3 of them while we were out on highway 50 by Sedalia storm chasing.

SE Wisconsin reported 5 tornadoes today at 3:30 pm. wild stuff considering its fricken JANUARY! WTF!?!?!?!

about 4 days ago it -15 in the morning hours with a high of 7 degrees and a good 20+ inches of snow on the ground. after 2 days of warm weather and fog, a good thunderstorm with lots of rainfall and all of our snow is almost gone!

All of the snow is gone here in CNY. We had 2 feet, and now it is GONE!

Damned global warming... maybe if I take my 3000 mile trip this year with no cats and a poorly tuned engine, it will warm it up 1 degree for next winter?!

Too far east for me on a work night to go out and do some chasing. Unfortunately 2 people were killed by the storms one older lady in Greene County Mo and no reports on the other yet. This was on foxnews.com headlines.

Looks like there was a good number of tornados though.

Tornado sirens mean go out on your deck and look for them! It's ok, I do it too. Good stuff there, glad you didn't take a direct hit. It's always humbling to watch those things ambling along aimlessly. You get hit with any hail out of the deal?

Oh yea, and it was 67 degrees in freaking Cleveland in freaking January yesterday! Not that I'm complaining...it's nice to be able to take the dog outside without having to bundle up.

Hmm... I drove 4,000 miles in one trip and now look at our winter.

You know, I've lived in tornado alley my entire life of 26 years. Not once have I seen so much as a funnel cloud. I've been within miles of a tornado warning numerous times and sought out shelter from hail from a system that developed a tornado 3 miles away once driving around, but I never saw it.

Kind of upset about that, but on the other hand...one should be so lucky.

I lived in Texas for nine years, heard many sirens, but never saw one. However the only one I've ever seen was a water spout in Tampa Bay when I was a kid.
