I noticed a new commercial for Ford trucks they show a clip of the old commercial where the F-250/350 (looks like an '85 or so model) is climbing a pile of rocks hauling a Chevy truck on the bed. I'd love to see the original commercial as I remember it from when I was a kid growing up in the '80s. I can't seem to find it on YouTube or anywhere. Anyone know where I can find it? Thanks!

 

sounds interesting. The latest commercial ive seen is where they have the helicopter hauling some big block and dropping it into the bed then the truck driving off. I wish theyd do the commercial you said with a toyota in it. I think the ford + chevy rivalry is over, time to work together and defeat toyota..

 

Yup! The current commercial shows alot of clips of older commercials for Ford trucks clear through the '50s until now. I remember seeing the particular commercial I am looking for when I was a kid and thinking "wow"! I was a Lego motorhead back then.

 

Definately. I used to not care for Chevy but when the Japanese companies started trying to be the big dogs, I realized Chevy and Dodge aren't half bad. I'd drive either before I would drive a Toyota. Yes, I'm brand loyal, but mainly, I'm just American, and don't want my money funneled into Japan.

 

its funny when all these yota commercials where on everyone was b!tching about how lame and smoke and mirrors they were the f150 ones are just as bad, imo

i agree though ford and chevy should team up

at least the voice on the ford commercials isnt being done by a guy that sounds like hes on the toilet about to drop a big one. Toyota must think it sounds tough.
