Normandy invasion-German youtube movie

Hope the link works. This is a compliation of different events. Assembled as a propaganda film. The German perspective of the d-day invasion.
Prior to the d-day invasion . British and Canadian were parachuted behind German lines as a small assault. A bad idea. Read some of the comments posted.

I found the link on Google as I was wondering about wartime Holland.

That video makes no sense. The Germans weren't on the coastline inspecting landing craft of the Americans. They were either shot up or POWs. Not random Germans walking around.

The germans were indeed, looking for an invasion but they expected it to come at Pas De Calais. They had a pretty good idea it was coming with the night forces that landed inland and the defenses at Pas De Calais were put on notice. What the germans didn't know was that the landings were not going be at the expected location. They assumed that the Normandy landings were a diversionary action which is why Hitler kept back his Panzers in reserve. As much as we would like to think that the war in Europe was a British and US conflict, it wasn't. The major players of this war were the germans and the Russians. We had right at 380,000 forces in Europe while the Russians had 12,000,000 troops in combat. The Russians suffered far greater from the germans than any other people. The video is obviously incorrect and I would expect to find that this was generated recently as some of the film footage is from Allied files. The film of the Allied warships is Allied, not german film footage.
