Gonna be in Tulsa tomorrow, looking for a good restaurant for lunch, casual, nothing fancy, just really good food. Thinking steakhouse, but open to other types.

The Spudder. Steakhouse, fun joint. You may want to call and see if they're open for lunch...lots of automobilia and old gas station stuff.

I always make a point to eat at Hideaway Pizza when I'm in Tulsa -- there's one on the S side by Oral Roberts University, and another on the N side kind of by the airport. The one on the S side is nicer......

 

I assume you are probably in Tulsa by now.

But here is the response I had for you last night before I found out the boards went Kaput!

My wife has a friend that worked as a waitress at Steak and Ale while she was in law school a few years ago. We were able to use her deep employee discount for lunch while visiting her one weekend. It may have been the cheapness of the tab, but I thought it was a pretty good steak.

Not sure of the location, but I'm sure you know how to use Google.

 

Rib Crib is a fairly decent regional chain if you like BBQ.

 

For kobi's style......nearest truck stop ought to do.
