I had surgery on November 8th and have been home since. (I have about 280 sick days...) Well, ready or not, I am going back tomorrow. My knees are still alittle weak and stiff, but I am BORED---I need to get back to the classroom and get back to molding the minds of tomorrow's future!

Lots of ibuorofen will be neededfor my knees to get through the day, but I am ready...

Good luck. I'm a junior and i'm going back tomorrow ughh haha. Actually i enjoy school just seems my christmas break has been very short.

 

280 days of vacation? That means that you could take an entire school year off, right?

Yep i got school tommorow too......

 

Teachers at my school get sick days and they add up, so if you dont use them you can get like 60 sick days and take them straight. and you still get paid.

No, about a year and a half---a school year in Ohio is about 187 days. If the unfortunate happened, (and I hope it doesn't, I could miss a year and a half and still get paid. Teachers in publicschools in Ohio acrue 15 sick days a year---my board of ed also allows us 3 personal days that do not add up---the only caveatis we cannot use them the first five or the last five days of a school year withou special permission.

BTW---PT is kickin' my ****---those people really are quite efficient in bringing about pain in a short period of time. I go again tomorrow after school. It will take me a half an hour to walk the fifty feet to my truck after they are done!
