Now what i really want to see is someone to make a replica of evil knievels bike from 1967 and see them break his record of 157 feet.

We watched this guy on ESPN. It came on right after the bowl game we were watching New Years Eve. That crazy Aussie not only jumped and broke the old record, he was so ecstatic, he got back on the bike and perfomed the jump again.

Haha, ya i thought it was funny people were trying to get him to not do it again. His fiancee looked like she was having a great time.

yeah, but you could tell that she was drawing the line at 2 jumps. They were showing her facial expressions while he was in the air and you could tell she wasn't going to allow a third.

On that second jump, the wind blew him far to the left. Take a look at the helmet cam part and you can see that he flew over the ground crew on the left side of the landing ramp. In practice, without the wind, Maddison jumped 350 feet.

No one can tell me that wasn't nuts, major props to him. He was going to go a third time but the wind was just getting worse so he called it quits.

Jesus christ, no one can ever do anything damn good anymore without someone bitching. So let me get this you want this guy that has learned how to ride on a motocross bike his whole life and jump 157' on some crappy bike? Hmm, makes a lot of sense!!

Yeah I saw the jump on TV and it was outstanding!

I know what you mean about Evel jumping way back then on the Harley, quite a difference in technology compared to todays jumpers.

I believe they said he was doing 95mph when he hit the ramp. The ramp is only 4' wide.
