they've won their championship 3 years in a row. Obviously their division isnt as challenging as 1a, since they beat a ranked team this year, dont you think they discussed the possible merger to 1a? in fact, i will even find a thread on espn where it was being discussed. 1a schools that are part of a conference (only 4 arent) get a percentage of the conferences money. For instance, ole miss didnt make it to a bowl, yet they will get the same amount of money as lsu even though lsu bowls paid each team around $14 million. basically, theres more money in 1a and if app state thought they could hang, they would move. ive never seen a school shy away from money.....

 

They already have a good thing, and they will still beat big name 1a schools.

And also, just because they are good enough to be D1 doesnt mean they can be D1. A lot of being a D1 school has a lot to with student body population. App St has like 13,000 students i think. My school, ASU, has about that many freshman.

And yes, if it wasnt for Harts two fumbles (im still shocked that he fumbled at all) and Henne's pick, michigan would have had 3 more touchdowns.

Point is, we didnt play app state so we didnt loose to them. i mean if you wanna do your team lost to that team who lost to that team kinda crap, heres one for you. ASU lost to Tex who lost to KSU who lost to Fresno state who lost to Boise state who lost to East Carolina who lost to Marshall who lost to New Hampshire who is a 1-AA team who lost to Northeastern who lost to UC davis who lost to Western washington who is a div III school.

Point is we lost, I was mad but surely if you believe that you are making me mad or upset by posting a thread like this .. you're very wrong. By the way, did your team win last years BCS? Just curious.
