Water and Freeze proof digital camera

Just got me a new digital camera!! I went on a cruise about a week ago and my old camera decided to randomly stop working on the first day. I just picked up an Olympus Stylus 790SW. This thing is sweet.

7mega pixel
3x optical zoom
Waterproof. Can be taken to 10ft. deep.
Shockproof. Can be dropped from 5ft.
Freezeproof. Can be used in 14 degree weather
Crushproof. Supports up to 220lbs.

The very first thing I did was put in my neighbors pool and take some pictures. The underwater pictures look just as good as the pictures taken on land. You can also take video underwater.

Olympus Stylus 790SW website.

Looks pretty impressive. Now go out there and get some nasty shots of that truck! I bought the wife and kids a Sony DSC-U60 and they beat the tar out of it. Waterproof to 5 foot so it works good anywhere they would swim. Only down side is it's 2MP and don't have any timer features or tripod mounts.

It has all kinds of picture settings like: nightshot, portrait, fireworks, one for taking pictures through glass, 3 different underwater settings, and a bunch more.

So far I've only been using it around the house. I can return in within 14 days so I'm trying to use it a bunch and make sure I like it.

Waterproof will really make it nice on the boat. Won't have to worry about people splashing water around. I also could've used it on my cruise. We went to Jamaica and hiked up Dunn River falls.
