I totally agree! Cassel is not afraid to run with the ball at all, he's very versatile! He has shown me things this season that Brady has never shown me! I truly think that he will become a great QB! Hopefully the Patriots can sign him for next season!.........Fingers are crossed!......

The Pats need to, who's the 3rd stringer? Drew Bledsoe?

Cassel has impressed me too. He does have a great supporting cast though.

I know all that, I still remember seeing the hit Bledsoe took that KO'd him. Caused him life threatening internal bleeding. Insert Tom Brady, a never was, who if he recovers from his knee injury could be the next Joe Montana.

I bet!

I read on the crawler on ESPN that Brady was doing poor with his recovery and the surgically repaired MCL and ACL are very loose, and he has a bunch of scar tissue in there from the infection that needs to be surgically removed. Then it said he will probably miss the 2009 season as a result. Poor guy. Good thing Cassel is the real deal.

I follow the league pretty closely, and I find these things interesting.

The knee may be doing poorly, but he just got engaged to Giselle. When God closes a door he opens a window!

The curse of the loosing superbowl team not making the playoffs seems to be going strong.
