I don't think most fans would hate the Pats except for the way they have played this year. Not the fact that they are probably going to go 16-0, but the fact that Belicheat and the gang are simply piling it on teams at the end of games just to rub it in. In the 1st game against Miami they're up what by 28 points and Brady's backup throws an INT and Brady comes right back into the game on the next series to throw another TD. In the Dallas game they score a TD with 20 seconds to go to win by 21, what a 14 point win wasn't enough?

I understand when they're up by 21 in the 4th and they're going for every 4th down instead of kicking FGs and increasing the score, but run the damn ball instead of throwing it. That's running up the score and that's what fans outside of New England are hating. When do they ever pull Brady? Uh never because he wants to beat Manning's record because he's tired of Manning being considered the better QB depsite the fact that Brady has 3 superbowls to Manning's 1.

Face it, no one will like the Pats except a Pats fan this year and everyone will root for them to fall flat on their faces in the playoffs. It's has nothing to do with jealousy believe it or not.

 

I'm not a Patriots fan, I don't dislike the team either. I don't care that they are running up the points. They are getting paid to play so damnit they better be playing all 60 minutes!! But, I do have a problem with the dumbass ignorant Patriot fans, it really gives them a bad name.

Agreed, that's why I said I understood them going for it in the 4th quarter instead of kicking FG's and scoring more points. Instead of having Brady drop back and throw his 45th pass of the game maybe they could hand it off to Maroney for his 10th carry of the game though. When the Pats bring in 3 or 4 WRs they know most defense can't stop them so they are simply rubbing it in at that point. Maybe it's just me, but that's not how the game is supposed to be played. When you have a 21 point lead in the 4th with a few minutes left in the game you don't show up the other team simply because you can.
