Do you realize how much insurance is going to cost you? Just have them pay you cash, you were never there.

I'd assume not a lot. I'm not really insuring "properties" just a "service"....

I don't even know how much yet... heck, I haven't ran it through my agent yet.

It's going to be close to a grand for a year. It wouldn't be worth it unless you're going in excess of 50 properties. Depending on how much you're getting for each one. Trust me, I do it on the side with a buddy. We don't have insurance, we might though once winter is over and we're able to get a bunch of more properties.

Well, you might be right... but I'll ask anyhow... It can't hurt.

because when you go buy parts and equipment for your business you need to pay with a business account to get tax write offs

This should be all you need. But if your just doing a few lawns for people you know, I wouldn't bother with any of that stuff.
