My buddy from Chicago called me the other day. He was looking for a Christmas present for his Brother-In-Law. He told me that while he was looking around, he came across an autograph signing session that was being held by Loraine Bracco (Henry Hill's wife Karen in Goodfellas / Dr. Melfi, Tony's shrink in Soprano's).

Loraine was apparently promoting her new line of wine beverages. Being that his Brother-In-Law is Italian and a big fan of both the movie and HBOseries, he thought this was perfect.

So he buys a bottle of wine and is waiting in line. When he gets upto Loraine, they start conversing. Apparently the small talk went well, so he built up enough courage to ask Loraine if she could write:

To Brian, "Janice Rossi is a *****" Loraine Bracco... This line was from Goodfellas when Karen (Loraine Bracco) goes to Janice's apartment with her kids to confront her about her affair with her husband Henry Hill... A line that we had loved for whatever reason when I was living out in the Windy City.

The picture is crappy because it was taken with his camera phone, but sure enough, there it is. I was rolling when he told me this... Loraine Bracco is definately one cool woman in my book.

 

Thats awesome! Goodfellas was an amazing movie, and The Sopranos is hands down, the best show to ever air on TV. I have the enitre series of The Sopranos on DVD, as well as Goodfellas. Loraine Bracco seems like she would be cool. All I can here in my head is " YOU HAVE A ***** LIVING IN 2B, ROSSI, JANET ROSSI!!!" Great movie....

 

Is it Janet, I thought it was Janice? Apparently Loraine thought it was Janice also, that's how she signed it.:o Oh well, fogetaboutit.

I agree, Soprano's was/is the best show on TV...And I thought the way they ended it was cool and unique, even though everyone else hated it. I thought it was great. Goodfellas is a close second only to the Godfather IMO...

 

Your right. Its Janice. I was typing what I was reading on a peice of paper. That was my fault!! I also liked the ending to The Sopranos. I wish there would have been more to it, but none the less, it was a good ending. The Godfather will always be number 1. I honestly think its best movie EVER made. Its just a perfect movie.
