Ice storm in PA.

We had a storm come through Saturday night into Sunday.
We got freezing rain in this area and we all know what havoc this causes.
I lost power at 4AM Sunday morning and just got it back on at 3:15pm today.

Sunday i ventured out for my morning coffee and was greeted with all most all the roads in the area closed or hard to navigate.

The ice was pretty thick.

This tree took out my power line and woke me up when it fell.

I am listening to the local news and there are still about 10,000 people still with out power. NJ and OH power companies have sent their people to help out, so i better not talk bad about NJ anymore.

I hope you were able to get your coffee !

WE are supposed to have another storm this weekend, too. We didn't get much ice out of the last one---just a boatload of snow!

I remember well, I know exactly what it's like. It hasn't even been a year since our big one that left me with out power for 12 days and some others even longer...

Wow, looks pretty nasty. I curious, in and area prone to ice storms like that, why don't they bury the power lines?

Guess it costs to much to bury all the ones up already. Lees99f150 where you at? Here in S. Williamsport we did not get it that bad, mixed with snow.
