FINALLY got a little sun yestday (about 37ish degrees, I was walking around in a tshirt like it was summer, GREAT weather!) and some of the ice melted off my truck. I was able to beat on it with my fist and break off 1/2" chunks of it

I've seen so many people driving around with just a tiny spot cleared in their windshield. If I were a cop I'd write them a ticket, that's so not cool!The ice dozer wouldn't do me any good on my truck...I'm to vertically challenged, I can't reach the windshield. I have a scraper with a really long handle.

Yea I think there should be a law, that at least 75% of your windshield must be cleared. I mean here a vehicle wont pass inspection if there is a crack in the windshield in front of the driver because it may black drivers vision. Yet they can and do drive with a peep hole cleared when it snows/ices.
