What's for lunch today? I know most of you have already had lunch but it's only 1130am here in Cali.

I had meatloaf, mac and cheese, mash potato, rice and brocolli caserol, and some corn bread. I am stuffed! There is this soul food restaurant down the street from here that is so good.

Oh the joys of being home. That's how I am on the weekends.

No pics but I had two delicious sammiches. Toasted rye, kentucky style shaved chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, melted mozza cheese, with light miracle whip.

I really need to get off my butt and get something done around here. The laundry looks like a big angry monster that could swallow me at any moment if I don't go do battle with it!

I hear that. I have 7 loads to do, and it's only Wednesday. How the heck do boys go through clothes like that? I thought girls were the ones who changed clothes 3 times a day?

I think this is where your laundry issue begins...

My wife made a big vat of chili a few days ago.
I've been eating on it pretty regular.

Had a double bowl fer lunch a few hours ago, now I'm rumblin', bumblin' and stumblin'.

I'v tried 3 times to find a good Mexican food place in Waxahachie, struck out all 3 times. The best place there so far is Johnny Carino's Italian. There is a very nice upscale restaurant just off the square downtown, but it's a little pricey for what you get. Good food though. There is a hamburger grill on the square across from the court house that looks good, but haven't tried it yet.

I absolutely love Johnny Carino's, used to eat there at least once or twice a week when I was home. I'm out here in so-cal now and haven't seen one ever.
