Aircard - Which one to buy?

Hey Guys,

So I need to get an aircard soon because one of my clients doesn't have network access that we can use. I know absolutely nothing about aircards and was hoping that someone on here would be able to shed some light on this for me.

1. Price does not matter
2. Speed is paramount
3. Coverage is very important

Thanks,

Duke

Either Verizon or Sprint, whoever has better coverage in the areas you need it. Those are the 2 fastest last I looked. If you are rural, nobody will have high speed coverage, only standard dialup type speeds. High speed requires enhanced cells, which are only found in major metro areas.

I'll be in Saint Paul, MN so hopefully I'll have high speed coverage. I just read something about AT&T's new 3B coverage which allows up to 3.2 mbps if you have coverage in that area which is up over Verizon's 2 mbps max.

I need to find out if Saint Paul is under the AT&T new coverage though.

Thanks for the tips!

Duke

I have AT&T, and their coverage varies based on location. When I was in Dallas, the coverage was great, here in Cleveland, it SUCKS with a capital S. I however don't have an aircard, that's just normal phone/data service. I've heard good things about Verizon though. You should get a 30 day trial period though so if you aren't satisfied, then return it and go with a different brand.
