You're Getting Bored?

Geez, I have been out of the house exactly four times since I came home from surgery (November 17th). Since I am still on crutches (moving to canes) I was told to stay away from malls, as people may bump me (not that I like malls this time of year anyway...) I wouldn't go to a mall just for the fact that I need an orange "slow-moving vehicle triangle" on my backside. I now know what house arrest is like. I can't wait to get healed up and actually go back to school and to work!

I can look at my truck, but I haven't driven it---my wife starts it up and drives it around for about 15 minutes a day...I miss my truck, as well...

I have memorized the TVLAND show lineup during the afternoon. I am beginning to lose patience...Just go finished watching the Munsters and The Addams Family. Gunsmoke is coming up soon, and so is Bonanza.

at least your watching some quality shows! Man its been awhile but i have been bed ridden before. I shatered my face during a stupid fight (thanks to Rugby) and had to have two surgeries to fix it all up. There were many days where i was sitting around the house... wishing I could just do something... anything!! I couldn't even shower for a good chunk of timne... so my girl friend at the time had to give me sponge/towel baths. She was a trooper!! But i'm sorry to hear about this... so what happened (if ya don't mind) ?

due to some major arthritis, I had a double knee replacement on November 8th. Showers I can finally do, and boy, do they feel great! I ride an exercise bike, stretch my quads, walk around the house (after dinner, when nobody is at the school where I teach, my wife takes me up there to walk...) I have ankle weights etc---and the who regimen of this is getting old.

I can't do much around the house, and my wife and I used to share all of the chores---I can't even bring in firewood for our woodburning stove.
