Some pix from Whiteman AFB, Ice strom
Looks like we got hit about the same 50 miles West of you in Warrensburg.
If it's anything like here, what you may see on the ground isn't snow, it is indeed rock frozen solid sleet that fell last night. It's a little deceptive when you go step on what you think is 1/2" or so of snow and instantly lose your footing on that sheet of sleet. Sucks.:santa:

Yup . . .
This is my front yard. Step on the grass and it cracks like thin ice on a lake.

Warrensburg huh? I graduated from there back in December, currently in grad school at Mississippi State
I miss Warrensburg; used to live on Ming Street and worked at Arwoods furniture. The craziest things thatt I will ever do happened in that town. Do you ever go down to Pine Street?

Wish I had some pictures of my drive home from work last Sunday, we got 18" of snow...that day. They plowed the road once, in the early afternoon. By the time I went home from work at 7:30ish pm, there was about 6-7" of snow on the road and it was still coming down. It was a fun drive!

I made the mistake of driving my truck down Pine Street in the 'burg once on a Friday night. People just assumed I was taking everybody to a party and everybody wanted to get in the back.
i worked there in the warehouse loading/unloading/receiving,etc. It wasn't too bad, there were about 9 guys that worked back there so it was never dull, I wouldnt reccomend working there though.
I remember one night I got a call from a couple of sorority girls that lived on my hall; they needed a ride. I ended up having to get permission from Officer Harrington to drive them all home...there were 26 of them either in, on, or sitting on the roof of my truck when I took them to the sorority house. They stopped on the sidwalk by the library when the sprinklers were on
I also recall breaking into the grain elevator with a couple of my buddies one saturday night when the bars closed. The police saw us on the roof when we came down, and we had to jump off onto a moving van, a good 15 feet below....
Some incredible stories in that dam town
I dont miss the weather though, it was 76* today; went to my last final in flip flops and shorts
