HAHAHAHAHA Thats hilarious !

They had an episode of Dirty Job where a couple guys did that. They didn't get any catfish even close to that size. But they did get a couple.

In Mississippi it's called "Grabbling." I think in Oklahoma and Arkansas it's called "noodling." If there aren't any natural structures, a box or old log is sunk into the water and those big cats will use them for their spawning grounds. You usually poke at them w/ a stick to get them to move and then, yeah, stick your arm into the box to get teh fish to bite down on you. Once that happens, out comes the fish.

My ex-brother-n-law used to go all the time. I just sat back and enjoyed the spoils. He could have all of that he wanted.

You seem a little too well informed for just an observer!

Yeah... I'm a country boy at heart... but I ain't, to quote you, "toopid." I'll watch a cork bob all day long, but I won't stick my arm into a log to let a fish bite it.

Having grown up in North Mississippi, near Sardis, Enid, and Grenada lakes, even if you don't do the deed, you know how to.

Take it from this redneck, sticking a finger in a hole is one thing, but if you can stick your whole arm in one......forget it, brother. Take that any way you imagine it.

We still catfish the old fashion way. A couple sticks of dynamite and 12 pack. Never have to leave the boat. Plus that river water gives us sissies ear infections.

Noodling should be an Olympic sport.
