Actually, to the OP, VB code only works on VBulletin boards. Won't work in an email.
For that, you will need to use the HTML style of linking. Here is how that would look.....
<a href=http://www.whateverlink.com>This is the linked text</a>
Insert that into an email, and change the whatever.com to where you want it to link the text, and of course, change the text to what you want it to say.
If the recipient of the email has plain text formatting turned on, it will not come through as a link, it will look just llike the above. But, most people have HTML formatting enabled in their email client.

Just like this forum, type what you want, highlight it, then hit the add a link or "create a hyperlink"
in Outlook or Outlook express, press that button in your email program. Put your link in the box that pops up and hit OK.
