Shirt stays....

Shirt stays....anyone know what they are?

Those of you that do know what they are, where do you find these suckers.

I checked Dillards, The Mens Warehouse, JCPenny's, and a few other mens stores around town and no one had any. As a matter of fact, some of the people looked at me like I was asking if they had any plutonium in stock.

I mean, for real....if you're selling nice suits with all the trimmings and that's your business, wouldn't shirt stays be just as important as a friggin tie clip?

What are they? Are they to keep your shirt tucked in?

Yeah, they attach from your shirt to your socks.

Yep, or order them from a military type catalog, that's where I got mine. They are very nice (until you have to take a dump ).

Yup, the BX was the only place I've seen them. I'm suprised the nicer clothing stores don't have them. Personally I like how they made the shirt (blouse in Navy/Marine speak) look but damn if they didn't rip out leg hairs!

Uniform shops. There's got to be a place around you that caters to Law Enforcement, Meter Maids, Private Security, and such... those places will have them. Just check your local yellow pages...

I thought "shirt stays" were the things that go in the ends of the collar to keep them stiff and straight.

Nope, those are "collar stays". A large paperclip works even better.

Or until you bend over and lift your feet off the floor.
