It's incredibly sad to know that thousands of helpless seniors are being treated so poorly. Many of them are placed in nursing homes and essentially forgotten by their families only to be mistreated and abused by the people entrusted with their care. My grandmother was in a nursing facility before she passed away, while she appeared to be well taken care of, her wedding ring came up missing when my mom got her belongings. Pretty pathetic to steal the last remaining valuables from someone who's had to give away so much to live in a single room for the end of their life
