I took that political candidate test. It really pissed me off. I got 3 points on her and 3 on Obanana. I don't know where we agree on anything enough to earn 3 points, if I could figure it out, I would change my position on the issue. I consider anything over zero a failure on my part!

I had 37 for Paul, 42 for Hunter and Thompson. If anyone relies on a poll such as that for political decision making in a primary decision, God help them.

I dodn't even know who hunter is. I had 53 for Hunter, 53 for Thompson, and 52 for McCain. Something makes me think Hunter might be a conservative.

I'd say Nader definitely stole votes from the Democrats. He ran under the Green party I believe and never had a chance of winning the presidency. I'm glad he ran because all he did was take votes from the democrats and helped George Bush win. So stolen or not; he never had a chance. That was my point.

The purpose of the quiz is to open your eyes to other candidates you might not have looked at other wise. After receiving this information it is up to everyone to further research the candidates. It helps you educate yourself for one of the most powerful choices we can make; who we want lead our country. As far as Ron Paul goes he has a lot of tremendous claims for his platform. The simple fact of the matter is he can't do these things without support. Even if he did win the election; which he won't, he can't "make" all his policies and ideas happen. Sure he would try to change the country because he really believes in his ideas, but it takes more than good intentions. Congress would tear most of his policies up and he would be labled a fringe conservative. If Ron Paul is the guy everyone wants in the White House he will win right? The fact that he has little support; or atleast not enough support to be in the upper half, shows the US does not feel he can do the things he wants to. Telling someone you can fix everything in Washington sounds great, but doesn't mean it can be done!

Maybe for the smart voter, but the majority in this country could care less about who gets elected. Sad, but true. Truly a showing of how broken the system is.

Well, both. The political system has been broken for decades, and society along with it.

Yeah, I think it all starts with those darn hippies in the 60's, so the system had to be failing near the mid to late 50's. I wouldn't know though, I was born in the 70's.

The system needs a complete overhaul! Get rid of Partisan politics and vote for the best person for the job. I know a bunch of people that just vote a straight party ticket. That is just nonsense.
