Need Help Getting Started
Hey Fellas,
I have been a member for awhile now and love the board. You guys have helped me with alota stuff. I got 179,000mi out of my '97 F150 4.2L V6 before the trans let go and I sold her. I have moved up to a 2000 5.4L V8 and love this truck. She just turned 90K on the odometer and is running great. I have owned this truck for a year now and love the 5.4L!! But I KNOW there is more truck hiding under that hood but I dont know where to start.
I have read all I can and am only more confused. My basic question is this.. with the milage thats on her, how much can or should I mod the truck? I dont have thousands to spend but would like to get that big V8 to really put some power to the rear wheels. Any and all help, advice, links whatever would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, DOC
