Well I just returned from the hospital right now, my grandfather was taken in today after he was found passed out on the floor of his house. He's lived a hard life and his only way of dealing with it was through drinking. So today we found out that his liver and both kidneys failed which caused his urinary tract infection to be released in the bloodstream(we didn't know he had an infection). He's not expected to make it and personally I dont think he'll last more than a couple days. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated for we just want him to finally be at peace.

I hear ya on the drinking, my dad is diabetic and a heavy drinker. He's about to have his leg amputated, which is only prolonging the inevitable. He never took care of himself either. I do wish the best for your grandfather. Prayer sent...

 

That's pretty much how I lost my mom. Not that she had a hard life, she was just an alcoholic. My prayers are with you and your family Hash. I'm here if you need to vent.
