I like Chase Daniel for the heisman. Local kid. Awesome QB from the big time QB mold. He'll be a top pick in the NFL for sure.

Oh yeah, Tim Tebow has a cool name.

Hey, Daniel not a bad qb, just picked the wrong year to have a heisman type season. Tebows got everything on the field as well as off the field. He teaches a freakin sunday school class.

Tebow is an awesome QB, and deserves the Heisman, but as far as going pro, he might not do as well as you think.
He's a little too slow for the pros and if he tries his running/plowing over the defense game in the NFL, he'll get smoked.

Just my .02

While Tebow has had a great season, McFadden has also had a great season. He did a great job against #1 LSU and rushed for over 200 yards against a team that has not allowed a 100 yard rusher all season. He also ran for 320+ yards against South Carolina a couple of weeks ago. It is hard to compare performances against RB's and QB's and while I think that Tebow is worthy, I think that the fact he is a sophomore might hurt him. Voters might give some consideration to McFadden considering that not only would he start for every single team in NCAA football, he would probably start for many pro teams as well. I can't say for certain that Tebow would be the starting QB at EVERY school.

I am a little biased, but I hope McFadden wins the Heisman this year. Tebow can have it next year if he puts up the same kind of numbers again.

That was the same argument made when Grossman should have won it a few years ago and we all know what happened then. The most deserving player should win it, regardless of class. McFadden can stay around another year and try to win it next year.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned it or I missed it. (Quick Read) Tebow broke his right hand last night in the game against FSU in the beginning of the 3rd quarter .. knew it was broken and still played the rest of the game with no sign of pain. Tell me he shouldn't win the Heisman, he's a monster!!

LOL .. Just saw it, I was in a rush. Oops.

I rest my case though. He broke the record last night for touchdowns. He's a HUGE leader to boot. So I mean what else do you want !?

I was confused about that. Last night I swore they said the record was 19 and than later he said he tied it. Damn commentators.

19 is the SEC td rushing record for any player. 22 is the ncaa rushing td record for a qb. guy from air force set it like 3 or 4 yrs ago.

If that was the case, McFadden would have won it last year.

And, he has had a much better year this year than he had last year. We'll see em both in NYC for the ceremony and since neither of us has a vote, I guess we will just have to wait and see who wins.
