Wow, this is an interesting perspective. Somebody driving stoned/drunk is a FAR bigger danger on the road then DRL's could ever be.

No foolin, as far as forgetting that the DRL's are on vs normal lights? It's a huge difference and unless you are hammered drunk or whatever, you won't forget to switch the brighter ones on. It becomes second nature, unless all thinking gets put aside and you get autolamps! One things for sure, you won't mistake a Mopar's signal direction and that is a good visual aid.

Yep, every time I see a turn signal flashing on a Dodge I breathe a sigh of relief, because I know in about 30 seconds I won't have to look at that Mopar anymore!

I don't drink!! I had just responded to a bunch of threads and realized that I was alone here...My name was on all but about 12 of the threads in the "Last Post" column so I just filled in the rest! It worked, I was queen of the "Last Post" column for 10ish minutes!!
