I dont get much experience with the 'bros' because I try to stay away from the city, but they sound like a whole new breed of wannabes.
Im a country boy stuck in the city...sucks

Same here.

"You can take the man out of the country, but you cant take the country out of the man."
I hate living in town.

I want to raise chickens.
I want to have some goats (not like Raoul though).
I want to raise some rabbits.
I want to burn the leaves I rake, instead of putting them in stupid bags.
I want to whizz off my back porch during a party.
I want to have peace and quiet at night. *Bump - bump - bump* at 10PM sux

I think y'all get my drift.

Haha thats why I'm glad im back in lubbock. Livin out at our shop right now(45x130) 3/4 of it is full of our muscle cars and the other quarter has 2 bathrooms, shower, and then there is a full kitchen, 2 fridges and 2 big screens. And all the booze one man would ever need Damn i'm livin the life. We can walk outside and whip it out whenever I please and drive the Rhino around drunk in peace Dont even have to pay rent, just gotta jump on the Kubota and mow the 15 acres its on.

15 acres.....I have a Postage stamp for a yard.

I'd hate to mow 15 acres (hince the goats), but I'd love to own 15 acres.

I'm looking for some land now. It isn't cheap in my neck of the woods. If you find a good price it's usally a crappy piece land (run off).

We plan on finding a nice piece, paying it off first, then building our new home.

Then my garage.

For me, nothin' is as peaceful as spending a couple hours bush hogging the fields on a big John Deere.

A bush hog, for those of you from New York, Los Angeles or Jupiter, is the term used for a large mower pulled behind a farm tractor.

i hear ya' man... the town i live in is @ 12,000 (including college students) if it were any bigger i'd probably go insane i am a hick and damn proud of it. btw the only thing i disagree with ya on is the raising chickens (done that VERY NASTY creatures) and the goats ( farmer i use to work for raised goats the nannies ain't too bad but the old billies can be ornrey and nasty too) but all else looks cool.. side note i also raised rabbits when i was a young'un had 30 at one point from only 3 sets of parents

I live in Downtown Dallas. This year is the first time I have ever lived in a downtown area. I like it a lot. I have bars and restaurants within walking distance. Lots of hot girls live in my building that are single. I dont have any yard to take care of. and my work is 2.8 miles away from my building. I also like the country but I am going ot stay in the city for a while. I hate commuting!
