Just bought an 07 FX2 Supercrew, Its my first F-150. Just converted from the Chevy side. So far this truck is great, better than any chevy Ive ever had. Anyways just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

Tell us why Fords have Chevy's beat then. I mean why is it so much better than the Chev?

This is the quietest truck I've ever drove Chevy's Have a lot of road noise, Dont ride as good. As far as dependability goes, no complaint with Chevy/GM. Again this is just my opinion.

As a former chevy guy I can tell you why I like it.

In the last decade Ford stepped it up in 3-4 key areas.
Looks

HP (they use to be all torque and less HP due to the longer stroke of thier engines, which was great for pulling, but not for DD driving.)

ergonomics

overall interior comfort

Found a way to combine classic Ford ride with fair pay load
Ford has always had a better suspension for driving, but older ones were a bit road crazy when loaded and especially when over loaded.

15-20 years ago I have ben quoted as saying, if you combined a ford suspension on a dodge frame and a chevy drive line and chevy body, then you'd have the ultimate truck, best of all worlds and what each brought to the table.
Ford has pretty much done that, taken design quese from each and then managed to improve them more in the last 10 years.
