My wifes family goes back to General Lee but I think alot of families got back to him.

As for me,

My aunt was Miss Arkansas 1964, my mother was Miss Dumas and second runner up for Miss Arkansas 1965
My cousin, was Miss Arkansas 1989, First Runner Up Miss USA 1990

My grandfather was the Conductor for the San Francisco Symphony and he started the Music School where I attended college. Not really famous but accomplished.

Capone had a hangout up here in Ontario in the Bancroft area. People I know/used to know would see him drive by with a car full o babes on his way to his retreat in the north. It was in the middle of nowhere.

Hey, I know your cousin. She's a real @itch. Actually she was my step-monster.

So if I stretch it almost to the breaking point my half brothers and sisters are decendants of the John Adamses, so I guess I am kind of related to them.

If I go way back I am realted to some Scottish man name William Wallace (at least that's what my nutjob mother said). What makes it ironic is my wife is realted to Robert De Bruce.

I had two great great great uncles that were Texas Rangers right after the Civil War. They were brothers and were given 160 acres each for compensation. Those farms still belong to decendants and are down in the Hill Country of Texas. My great great great Grandfather was a U. S. Marshall for the Hanging Judge in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He ended up owning a lot of land near Fort Smith and had a town named after him.
