Dave, since you are doing this trip on a rice rocket, I have to say your ******* is extemely large! Have fun, and stay safe!
I made the same trip on the same bike back in June. I was extremely sore after I got back but its soo fun that I dont worry about the pain until afterwards. The last time I went through the talimena pass the roads were slightly wet. Hopefully this time we will have some nice weather. I love hitting the twisties. And of course it will be cold enough for a leather jacket and I always wear my helmet and gloves.

here are a couple pics from the last trip. A guy from work brings his vette and carries our stuff. He actually keeps up pretty good and he out ran me once we hit about 160mph. I ride the black R6

So the guy with the Harley watches your back. Because with the burners and the 6 that's about all he'll see.

well we have a couple harleys going. Myself and my boss usually ride preetty fast and then sit on the side of the road and wait for about 10-15 minutes for everyone to catch up. Whats surprising is how fast that C6 can handle the corners!

Just got back. Man was that fun. We did just under 1100 miles. We went all the way up into Missouri. My boss wrecked his 1000RR on a curve but luckily he was OK. Just a few sprains and some road rash. But the bike did a few flips and its really screwed up. He got to ride in the Vette half the secodn day and today and the bike got towed. We got to go pick it up next weekend. Well I will post some pics here pretty soon. It was extremely foggy in the upper parts of the mountains so I didnt take as many pictures as I wanted.
