What are you Yanks paying for gas?
I think trying to find out why prices are is anyone's guess anymore. With the Canadian dollar at an almost record high ever, we pay I'd guess 80 cents a liter more for gas that probably came from Alberta ( Canada is the 2nd largest supplier of oil worldwide ). I think I'll fill up in Detroit whenever possible. You figure 1 gallon = 3.79L, so with the money at par and the Litre at 1$, that's $3.79/gallon. Divide 3.79 by the exchange rate of $1.05 (about avg last time I looked what banks sold cash at) and that still equals $3.61.
Oil companies, christ, raise prices because of this so called "tensions in the middle east"? When the f+*% hasn't there been tensions over there? Couldn't blame prices on the "Hurricane season" this year huh! Predictions of a cold winter? or rising Asian demand? Sorry a holes, you stole all our jobs now want us to pay high prices for oil you need?
What a topic, it's like discussing politicians. Funny how oil has to do with such a contrivercial topic as well? Hum......
