Had mine done 12 years ago and haven't had any problems. Driving at night can be bad with headlights, but that's no worse than it was before surgery. My wife had hers done about 5 years ago and had some dry eye problems for about 6 months or so, but that isn't a problem now. Just make sure they have done plenty of surgeries. You don't want to be one of the first few hundred for sure. I have not regreted the surgery for one second!!

You got the old school surgery. Got mine two years ago, and no halos around the lights at night. I see 20/13! Best thing I have ever done for myself.

Cost really depends on the Dr. What a lot of people don't realize is you can use your flexible medical spending account from work to pay for it. If you know you are going to have the surgery you can stash a few hundred bucks a month TAX FREE; then pay for the surgery out of that. I imagine its at least 4 thousand or better now. Mine was 2,000 when I had it done and my dad's insurance paid all but 200 dollars of it. Shortly after that no insurance companies covered the surgery. I got lucky.

Again, dont be cheap, and take the best deal. The good docs cost more due to technology. One million per Laser Surgery Machine. The cheaper the doc, the more cattle he runs through his clinic...

Mine was still Laser; they just cut a flap on my cornea and lasered underneath. The flap layed back down and healed. It wasn't the Radial Keratotomy; they made lots of little cuts for that one and reshaped the eye without a laser. Now they laser straight through the cornea. My night blindness issue is bc my pupils stay so dilated all the time; but again that was an issue before I had surgery.

That's not bad at all. You stay awake during this kinda surgery right, and it doesn't take too long??

Lasik plus is doing the procedure. After the year end $400 discount it comes out to be $2998 and that comes w/ a lifetime gaurantee. They mentioned how some of the older surgeries did not cover the whole pupil but theres does. Im excited Im 22 and have been wearing contacts since 16, I absoultely hate them!
