Found this ina quick search.....

The forums look interesting, they have a section for almost every car that Ford has ever made covered.

Ahh I think I typed a little more.....

Did you notice that it's 2 different places? The first thread is the same, but different after. So now he has 2 places and probably the exact same people on both.

Let's see some pictures of it! Back in high school, a lot of guys had that car and I really didn't care much for it -- but I have to say that over the years that bodystyle has really grown on me.....

Ugliest car I ever owned (only because it was 4dr and I was 18.....) It did have teh sexiest instrument cluster I have eevr sen in my life though!!!!
It had a 302 "bored .030 over", lengthened rods, blue printed crank, edelbrok 650 and edl intake, over sized cam (can't remember the numbers now) shaved heads over sized valves, special hand machined lengthened valve rods with machined "one off modified" extended roller rocker arms and personally made high clearance valve covers to accept them.
Behind that beast was a 2 speed power glide followed by 2.86:1 DT lockers, rolling on what ever size used tires I could get cheap that week.

I had 4 turbo mufflers on the stupid thing and store owners still complained it ratteled thier windows and sometimes stuff on thier shelfs when I drove by. I'd say I was getting on it when it would rattle the stuff on the shelfs..... :o

I got pulled over one night by a highway patrol in town, he said he was in a antique store earlier that day when I drove by and it rattled stuff on the shelf. He swore up and down I was running open headers. When I told him I had 2 ufflers on each bank, he called me a liar! He started to write me a ticket and I told him if he did I'd be at the inspection station first thing in the morning to get an avidavit showing that all 4 that were welded on last month were still there! I made him lay down in the parking lot of the car wash that he pulled me over in and look for himself. He let me off and told me I needed to figure something out to quiten the thing down before someone complained and I got a disturbing the peace citation.

I putted around town like a grand pa from then on, wouldn't hardly go over idel or open it up except on the highway. Well most the time anyway, occasionally still had to show off while cruising.......

in the last 2 years all I have had the time to do is reuild the front end and add disc brakes. i am to the point of trying to find a shop that can get it were i want it to be for a reasonable price and a resonable amount of time.

no that is my son , picture is a 3 or 4 years old, he just turned 11 and is on my but to get "the big motor" in it. i have a descent 460 i want to put in place of the 390.

i set the goal of doing the hot rod power tour with him when he is 13 or 14, i got 2 or 3 years to get the car ready and comfortable.

when i was younger i had the time and no money, now i have the money and no time......
