Saw them last night. Very good show and it was packed. DLR has lost that voice of the 70's but that is expected and he should just stop with the high kicking. It was kinda scary watching that. Wolfie held his own, Eddie was still incredible as was Alex.

It was just pretty cool seeing them onstage after all these years. I was just afraid that DLR and Eddie might get into a fight during the show.

I saw them back in "84" for the end of an era.Sammy Faggar never did them any justice. Wish they would have gotten back together sooner.

 

anyone heard the cd "Strummin with the devil"? Its got 2-3 songs by DLR, and theyre terrible. The rest of the covers of van halen songs are good tho. Its like 15 tracks, all country covers of VH songs. Some of them pretty decent.

I rocked to Van Halen back in the day, but there's a point when the coolness wears off, like when half the band has had hip replacement surgery and every concert venue has portable oxygen tanks on stage for between set breathers.
