So today i had a pallet of wood pellets placed in the bed of my truck and man i was skuching mighty low let me tell you. I thought the truck would never stop dropping as the guy let down the forks. I just drove slowly and the ole boy made it 15 miles no problem.

I was a bit leary when i had to step down to get in.... Its all good.

I expect it to almost if not be dragging my reciver, I will have to take the htch out or the ball wiill drag. The ball drags in low spots with about a rink and a half of green firewood. I'd guess about 1000-1500 lbs
It wont be pretty.......

I'm also going to take the tailgate off, becasue jesus, even though our tailgates are stronger than teh toyotas........ I dont think it is that strong!!!!

I wish we had some of those portbale DOT scales to find out exactly what the safe weighs and also hope we have a video camera.

The other obstacle is loading/unloading the Bastid..... I havent quite figured that part out yet.

I'm going to try to talk the area manager into renting a forklift, I do have a forklift license some where, we are just moving across the street to nicer offices. I'm hoping to just drive it over on the forklift.

Yea I have no freaking idea how to lift it. There is only about 6 guys in our office and 30 some women, 8 of which are preganant ( I know nothing about that, I am innocent despite the rumors....)

My dad has a tommy lift that slides into the reciver hitch, but I'm not sure it's rated for that, and also I have the class V hitch, which means it's only good for about 1000-1200 lb tounge weight. So I dont think the hitch would hold up even if the tommy lift would.

IDK, I'm probbaly going to tell them tehy will have to rent a forklift casue I dont think I want to do it in my truck. Although would be a great story, great pictures, great video, and if all went well would be great braggin' rights. But lots of potential for disaster, positive side of that would be they would owe me a new truck!! Hmmmmmm maybe we will load it after all......

It ain't the forklift driver, unless there are high speed turns involved. (Long story)

Yeah you better let Z drive. You have the photography experience. You'll need it to help the EMT's and insurance company to recreate the scene.
