Yeah I doubt your credit is any better than mine.

Parents won't cosign and I don't have enough established credit to get one on my own.

Perhaps I should start thinking about a different major...

I'm gonna be in the same boat if I don't get my TOPS scholarship back this semester, and that's gonna reallllly suck.

Maybe if you offer them a case of your beer they will be more likely to give the loan after you cosign!

Trust me, I've looked. Every place says you have to either
  1. Have had the same full time job for at least two years, or
  2. Have a cosigner with acceptable credit

If you know of any that don't have these requirements please enlighten me. Oh and Federal loans don't count. I need way more than the government will give me.

FAFSA http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ Get a subsidized loan. Sell blood and every non-vital internal organ before accepting an unsubsidized loan.

FAFSA Subsidized is what I did this semester...first time Ive had student loans....I qualified for 8,500/yr in sub. loans and 7,000 in unsub. loans so I just took the 8,500 and Ill pay back what I dont use next semester.

I don't recall having a co-signer, just applied online. It's been 6 months since I applied so I might have forgotten.

Just go to a bank and get how much you need.

Lol good plan.

Anyway, I've done all the FAFSA crap and the most I can get it like $2500 a year. I need closer to $15,000. So I have to make up the rest with a private loan, which is what I need a cosigner for.

I go the the Community College, but I'm in the two year Professional Pilot program. Flying is expensive. The program costs $20k just in lab fees (aircraft rental, instructor, simulator time, supplies, tests, medical exams, etc..) not including tuition.

Oh and you can get a lot from the government if you qualify. I'm white and my parents make enough money that I don't get crap.
