cost control

As I watch gas prices start to soar ( thanks GB) I am sure glad I got my Harley.
I drive out of McKinney to downtown and thats 80 Miles RT.
My '03 cost me about 15 bucks a day, the bike a little over 5 and thats Premium that goes in that.
Plus I cut my coffee intake in half too. After 45 minutes in rush hour traffic at 6 A/M the adrenaline's doing just fine thank you.

Gas prices are actually low right now considering oil is up to 88 bucks a barrel.

Stay safe, Tex.

I stopped commuting by 'cycle years ago, after one too many close calls with latte-sippin', cell phone yabberin', lip-stick-applyin' drones. Some of them, I swear, were still catching up on their beauty sleep on the way to work

And I always choose a route that doesn't have a Tim Hortons on it; there's a whole other kind of race going on near those places and courtesy, awareness of surroundings and traffic laws do not seem to apply to these zombies in their single-minded rush towards caffeine...

There's defensive riding, and then there's roulette.

I happily drive my tank and pay the cost, so I can get to work & back without going through the emergency room first.
