Only in California do they make offroad trucks with unusable beds...

What a waste of a Lightning. Nice for what it is, but he coulda used a different truck like a regular one in an accident or something.

Why would you build something like that - then sell it ??

Oh well, who cares.. - I would buy in a second if I had everything else I wanted and/or needed.

Love to have that kind of cash to pi$$ away on fun..

I'll take a guess and say that it was built for the Bahaa - Desert racing...

Well, Wahhh Freakin Hooo !!! , what a blast that would be !!!

I wonder if he would rent it for a week if it doesn't sell ??

You go it all wrong... In a prerunner truck, a bed is useless.

Exactly.....not many people understand what a prerunner truck is. Im sure procomp will be able to explain more also if he pops in to this thread....

A lightening is a perfect truck to prerunner if your in to the standard cab prerunner. I personally am not. When you put on a full cage with all that long travel suspension you are adding tons of weight to the truck. now depending on how much travel you have you need a motor that will be able to keep up. Lightening is perfect, you dont need to build the motor at all. You just dont see that many around.

Yeah, it's nice to see a well built truck... Out here I see way too many highschool kids putting fenders, bedsides, and a body lift; sticker it up and they think their RANGER is a prerunner. If you were to take them to a SCORE or BITD race, they wouldn't be able to make heads or tails of it.

I know its great. i see them all the time here. I also hate when people lift there trucks like 10 inches and then through fender flares on them and pull the bedsides. My tires stick out of my fenders but no way am i putting fender flares on my truck. haha. Its rare to see a cleanly built DD aroudn here anymore with all the highschool kids getting into it.
