Yep---I admit to using sarcasm in my post---and for that, I apologize. I have often noticed, recently, that if somebody disagrees with you they resort to name-calling, etc. Debating for some, is a lost art. Disagreement---fine; disrespect---childish.

Many on this forum (not all) but a significant number, disagree and take it so personally that they seem immature and childish at times.

I apologize for the use of sarcasm; I am not apologizing for where I stand on the issues.

Raoul---WELL DONE!

Watch out, though---somebody will refer to you unfortuantely as a "Simple-minded goat hearder." Or maybe an "ignorant goat hearder." Or---well, the beat goes on...

Nah, that's too much typing. When someone gets worked up, I'm....'Goat Boy!"

"Mr. President, Raoul...I mean 'Goat Boy' has tampered with another one of your speeches."

There's some serious truth in that. I'm not at all happy with the way the government has grown under GW. I'm not thrilled about the laxness of our borders. The war in Iraq hasn't been a brilliant work of art either; but, I still support it.

If the libs (and left leaning moderates) want us out, take the White House in '08 and pull us the hell out of there. The consequences of doing so should be on the heads of those that feel it's the right thing to do. I don't think it will happen though. If a Democrat is in the Oval Office in '09, and we're still in Iraq, I wager that we'll be there when they leave in '12.

Nice job on your version Raoul. It's a shame to see such creativity seduced by the Dark Side.
Oh the humanity.

I agree with what is going on in Afghanistan. Iraq, however, is a different subject. But, now that we are there, and things need to be propped up, I do believe that we NEED to be there for quite some time (UNFORTUNATELY).

I'm for complete and total withdrawal.
However, I am not without compassion.
