What really happened at the X-Wing launch

Remember the scale model launch of the X-wing? Rebel conspiracy perhaps?

Would it be too geeky if I said that it was a standard Tie Fighter and that Darth's fighter actually had curved wings?

Front Center vs. Front sides

Did you see the Family Guy parody of Star Wars? While defending the Falcon from tie fighter attacks, "Luke" asks "Han" why they call them TIE fighters?

Then they cut to the c o c kpit of one of the TIEs and theres a pissed off thai man as the pilot. Hilarious, and I wish I could find a clip.

Ya, that's a funny episode I've got it recorded on my PVR. My favourite was R2D2 hanging out of the Millenium Falcon with a pistol sideways and gunning down a Tie Fighter.
