So. Texas Dove
You lucky bast@rd! I spend all year prepping, planting and harvesting fields just for dove hunting. This years first season was about as good as I have seen it in ten years. We have a 12 per day limit and I had my twelve in about the first hour. Pretty much limited out each day we hunted but it was tough the last day. I have 4 fields to alternate hunting. I lose a lot of money this way, but at least they are my fields and I can dictate the hunt.
If all the housewives would quit putting out bird feed year round, we country folks would have more birds I fully believe...
I'm squirreling away money for a once in a lifetime trip to Venuezala(sp) for an all inclusive hunt.

Here are some limits that made their way to my cooler
7 total limits for my group. (there are 70 hunters in this lodge)
We went out today and I only got 10...slow morning. This afternoon should pick up.

My ol gal has never been this dusty.
