I am cruising to work on the highway today and this woman is heading towards me completely in the wrong lane. I put on the brakes and am honking and she finally sees me and gets off her cell phone and gets into her lane. I’m sure, had I been on a bike, she would have just completed the head on. It would have been a fatality with the common headline “vehicle crossed the center line” I got a good look at her and would bet 4 to 1 that she was an illegal alien as well.

 

I was turning onto the hwy today in the outside turn lane with a van in the inside turning lane. We were both next to each other all the way thru the turn but he decided he wanted to drift into my lane. I swear he was about an inch from hitting my tires. I had been laying on the horn for a good 10 seconds before he even reacted to the horn. When I got past him he was putting his hands up in the air at me like I did something wrong but I could tell he couldn't even speak a lick of English.

 

Yeah what do they care they would probably just hand the Cop a fake ID. That is if they even wait around after causing an accident. Here it is quite common for them to split the scene especially if they've done some serious damage.

 

Wtf? After the 4th DUI you'd think they'd do something. And now I bet some one wish they did do something, I know I wish they would of done something.

How sad Too many innocent people are killed because of drinking and driving. IMO the laws and penalties should be about 500% tougher than they are now.

 

The reason people from Mexico do this is because their afraid of police, as bad as it sounds, sometimes the cops are what you have to watch out for. When your in Mexico and run over some one, you better make sure their dead, and take off. Because if they aren't YOU have to support them for the rest of their lives. It's pretty crazy, but my father farmed in Cuidad Mante for 8 yrs. I was their for about 3, and that was something we were always told.

I'm not trying to start a flamefest about this, just simply relaying information that has been passed to me.
