It's not a C-130, it's a C-123. If you actually believe there isn't any smoke & mirrors in that commercial, you are simply too stupid to be in public by yourself. In all reality, what was actually accomplished?

If you land an airplane & pull the power back, the plane slows down. If you chuck a Ford out the back & have the Ford slam on the brakes, guess what? THE AIRPLANE WILL STOP!!! HOLY CRAP, CALL THE CIA!!! Trust me when I tell you this, any vehicle could "stop" that aircraft. A Ford Fiesta could do the same thing. Think about it. A Kenworth with a 53' trailer weighs more than that C-123. They stop safely all the time.

Now, if that C-123 would hit the throttles, it would take off with the F-150 flapping in the breeze like a trolling lure.

So, I'm saying that commercial, like pretty much every one aired by every vehicle manufacturer, is meaningless.

I want to play with a REAL airplane one day.... like attach random stuff to it and see if it survives 30,000 feet in the air while going 2000 mph...

So, when Toyota or Chevy or Nissan or Dodge make a commercial making grandious claims it's BS & everyone in the world with a blue oval on their grill will shout it from the tallest mountain, right?

Now, when Ford does the same & someone calls them on it, that person is Cpt Downer? Thanks for further proving my point that most Ford owners are one step above brain-washed, imbecile.

It isn't just Ford Owners it is anyone with a loyalty to their brand it doesn't matter what you drive most people will defend what they drive. I do agree though that it would have been fun to be the stunt driver for that one, I am more amazed that the tow hooks held than the fact that it stopped the plane.

The weak link is the brakes and the tires, not the tow hooks. Ford has some of the strongest tow hooks available.

No brain washing here, is it such a bad thing for some of us to take pride in what we drive and have some fun with something like this, without you coming along and turning the fire hose on it?

I paid alot of money for my F150, I'm damn proud to own it, and I'm not embarrassed to say so.

I actually LOVE my truck too and i have a ton of pride in driving it. Most NORMAL people do have pride in something that they have spent 30,000 + dollars on but then again as said earlier you are from jersey, so you my friend ARE NOT normal
