So sick of this steroid crap!

I can careless about Marion Jones. Why waste valuble sports center time on her? I honestly didnt know who she was until this steroid thing came about. It seems that ever since bonds got into all that trouble now everyone is getting busted. Steroid use in sports shouldnt even be news its the norm.

Yea i thought the same thing when i saw sportscenter..... I just reached over and changed the channel. No offense to her, but she's not really that "news worthy".

Whats next? steroid testing for Wiffle Ball players too?

You know what does p me off? How easy it is to get um, I mean Ive been lifting for 6yrs religouslly, minus 2 months of rehab and not being able to walk after surgery, Ive never taken more then 4 days off in a row and I spend tons on healthy food, and supps.
However I walk into the gym today to see a kid who's maybe 21 packed on 30 lbs or so of lean muscle in the last 2 mos. Sorry to say that isnt possible without some illegal stuff. I mean Ive had friends that have done them and Ive seen it first hand, roid rage, smelly onion sweat, etc. its a nasty thing and yet so simple.
I have numerous sites online to get um and not even worry, but yet I wont touch um. I feel thats cheating.

Yes Bonds did um, yes many others did, but I mean everyone can anymore.

They would have to quit smoking and drinking and eating at Denny's first.

I did a cycle back in the mid 90's when I was around 19-20 years old. I started lifting in 9th grade and was already plaenty strong but I was young and dumb and said what the hell I am gonnna try it. At the time I did them I was already benching over 400 lbs and weighed around 225lbs . When I did them I only did 6-7 weeks worth. But in those six weeks I got huge! People knew what was going on. I didnt rage or get zits or anything. And I did the injectable kind I forget the exact name. I would never do them again. When you get done doing it you get depressed because your strength drops tramendously. That is why people get hooked. They want to keep the strength. Now I am just old and fat and havent hit the gym in about 3 years. One of these days I'll get back off my lazy *** and get in the gym. If I was a pro athlete I would probably do them just to keep up with everyone else.

What I get sick of is the vehement denials and outrage that anyone would dare to even suggest they might be using steroids. Jeezus they lie like rugs! It shows you the contempt they have for everyone but themselves. I been lifting a very long time and have seen some people who likely use the garbage but they may pay a price down the road for it.

he may not have... there is something that works almost as good as steroids without the side affects, and its legal. Human growth hormone or HGH. doctors give it to people who have hormone deficiencies and it makes them "normal". but if you are a pro athelete who is already in amazing shape and take it, you get the strength you had when you were a teenager and then some. I am NOT saying this in anyway to defend bonds because i still think even if he didnt do steroids and he did HGH he should have an asterisk next to his name.

what happend to natural talent?

He always had the natural talent, he just got bigger. Steroids, HGH, those don't give one the ability.

But they give the one with ability, the ability, to turn warning track power into home runs.

It didn't give Jose Canseco the ability to catch some of that warning track power.

LMAO!!

Canseco is a rat, but he did expose baseball's dirty little secret which wasn't so secret.. And even before steroids baseball had amphtemines, which I can understand given the long grind of the season.. Hell, I work 5-6 days a week and by Tuesday I'd be gulping beans if I could.. LOL

And this Marion Jones thing has been going on for over two years.. she was implicated in the Balco thing, same as Bonds.. in her plea agreement she admitted using the "clear".. Not HGH, but an undetectable steroid. Bonds has admitted to the same thing.

And don't dismiss Jones just because you've never heard of her.. She's won won five Olympic gold medals in track, will probably have to forfeit them now.

God forbid Bonds should forfeit a couple hundred homers just because he juiced up..
